As we reach the end of the year I would like to thank all of our clients for the opportunities we have had to work with them during the past 12 months.
2016 has seen a number of changes at Magog, designed to improve how we work and to strengthen our technical knowledge base, to help ensure we are best placed to support our customers across all industry groups.
At the beginning of the year we re-defined the responsibilities within our Engineering team along process application lines. This has allowed individuals within the team to focus on specific manufacturing sectors and applications. Improving their process knowledge and allowing them to develop closer links with specialist material suppliers and customers, regarding processing and development projects.
In April, we appointed Justin Bennett as Area Sales Manager. This appointment is a new role within Magog, which will help us engage more regularly with our customers, to understand the specific process and production challenges they face and to ensure that we are best placed to support them with technically led solutions.
Earlier in December we achieved certification ISO9001:2015 for our internal Quality Management System. This is a particularly important milestone for Magog. We see it as a measure of our ability to manage the most important administration, design, engineering and manufacturing tasks effectively; so guaranteeing our customers, suppliers and other partners receive consistency both in terms of quality of products and of service.
Our commitment to continual development of both our products and processes will help ensure that we are able to offer the best solutions for Plastic and Rubber plasticising components.
I am confident that as we move in to 2017, Magog will maintain a leading position in screw and barrel technology.
We look forward to working with you and your colleagues in 2017.
